Next Big Thing: Min & Mon

Fun (and completely humble-free) fact: countless times I have been an early adopter of a brand, restaurant, dj, or blogger only to watch them hit the stratosphere in popularity within a couple of years. (Which is awesome, obviously!) But in the interest of my own sanity and being able to say "I told you so!" here's one of my latest finds. I promise you'll be reading about this brand in Racked, Vogue, etc. soon.

While on a mission with my friend to find a spring jacket in Soho last weekend, we spontaneously stopped in Broadway Market. (Congratulations to the guy getting paid to stand in the window dressed like some kind of mannequin/ventriloquist and wave his arms at passerby – you got our attention.)

One of the first booths in the market belongs to Min & Mon. The brightly colored leather handbags, wallets, and keychains covered with eyes and other ephemera caught my eyes immediately. 

The structured bags are interesting to look at with kooky color combinations and appliqués that are quite frankly made for Instagram. Shop their goods on their website or in person at Broadway Market in Soho at 483 Broadway or 290 Mulberry Street.*
